Who is the Sol Drive for? The Sol Drive is for anyone looking for that creamy, syrupy tube tone in a pedal format.
How does a Sol Drive differ from other pedals? There are thousands of overdrive pedals on the market, all unique in their own way. But there are only a handful of tube overdrives to choose from. The Sol Drive stands out in its build quality, stability, design, and tone by using only the highest quality components, hardware, and hookup wire. The layout utilizes top mounted power and input/output jacks to optimize pedalboard space. Extra effort went into securing and dampening the 12AX7 tube for the best stability possible. You can mount the Sol Drive on your pedalboard with confidence.
For what types of music is the Sol Drive suited? Since it can go from light breakup to medium-high saturated tube gain, the Sol Drive sounds great with a variety of styles, e.g. Classic/Hard Rock, Blues, Jazz Fusion, Country, Alternative, etc. It also stacks well to add a dynamic tube character to your favorite OD, distortion, and fuzz pedals.
How much does the pedal cost? The Sol Drive costs $299 + tax & shipping.
How much is shipping/Do you ship worldwide? Worldwide shipping is $30, not including local import taxes or duties.
What are the power requirements? The Sol Drive uses a 9V DC 200mA center-negative adapter (not included). It does not operate with a battery.
How can I buy a Sol Drive? The Sol Drive is not available at dealers, but is available on my Reverb.com store and on ShiraFX.com. Pedals are released as they are built. Backorders can be up to 6 weeks.
